Louis Vuitton Forges Alliance with Fencing Champion Enzo Lefort in LVMH Collaboration

The world of high fashion and the precision of elite fencing converge seamlessly as Enzo Lefort, the renowned French fencer, embarks on a groundbreaking partnership with the luxury fashion powerhouse Louis Vuitton, operating under the expansive umbrella of LVMH.

Lefort now joins the esteemed ranks of athletes sponsored by LVMH, standing shoulder to shoulder with Louis Vuitton’s ambassador, the accomplished swimmer Leon Marchand, and Dior’s chosen gymnast, Mélanie de Jesus dos Santos. These athletes not only receive financial support but also gain exclusive access to LVMH’s distinguished circles.

Hailing from French Guiana, Enzo Lefort, a 32-year-old fencing prodigy, boasts a stellar career as a three-time Olympian and a champion in both European team and individual world competitions. In a remarkable feat, he clinched a bronze medal at the World Championship in Milan in 2023.

Louis Vuitton has commended Lefort for his dedication, excellence, and unwavering determination. Simultaneously, LVMH underscores his creativity and tenacity during the official announcement of his sponsorship and introduction to his new role.

Enzo Lefort’s journey is a tapestry woven not only with sporting triumphs but also artistic endeavors. In 2017, Lefort unveiled “Behind the Mask,” a visual celebration of the diversity within the French national fencing team, portrayed through photography. Recently, his second book, “Olympic Backstage,” offered a unique insider’s perspective on athletes’ experiences during the rescheduled 2020 Tokyo Olympics in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.

This multi-talented athlete’s journey comes to life in the form of the manga “Enzo,” a collaborative effort with Parisian illustrator Tony Lourenço. In addition, he introduced “Le Rebond” (or “The Rebound” in English), a French podcast initiated in February, featuring in-depth conversations with athletes such as Ladji Doucouré and Marie Patouillet, exploring the transformation of challenges into renewed inspiration.

Beyond being a brand ambassador for Louis Vuitton, Lefort is poised to support the 2023-24 LVMH Master GaMEs, an annual event for apprentices at LVMH’s Institut des Métiers d’Excellence, extending its reach internationally with events in five countries. Lefort’s presence will inspire these apprentices to infuse the elegance of fencing into their crafts, with standout creations showcased at the 2024 Paris LVMH Pavilion.

As LVMH assumes the role of a premium partner for the 2024 Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games, it collaborates with jeweler Chaumet for the design of medals, drawing upon the participation of iconic houses, including Vuitton, Dior, Berluti, Sephora, and Moët Hennessy.
