LG Introduces 4K Smart Monitors with ‘MyView’ Feature

LG Electronics is set to unveil its latest series of smart monitors, named ‘LG MyView,’. These monitors, designed for both productivity and entertainment, feature the renowned webOS platform and boast a range of user-friendly attributes and connectivity options. The introduction of the LG MyView branding in 2024 signifies the company’s commitment to delivering a personalized user experience through its premium smart monitors.

Among the showcased models, the 32SR85U will be available for purchase at $599.99 on LG.com and authorized retailers, while the 32SR70U and 32SR83U will be priced at $499.99 each. U.S. availability for these models will be disclosed at a later date.

LG MyView smart monitors empower users to stream content, including movies, series, and sports, listen to music, and work remotely without requiring a PC connection. The 2024 lineup, featuring the award-winning 32SR85U, incorporates LG IPS 4K displays, ensuring an impressive picture quality. The integration of webOS enhances the user experience, providing an intuitive interface and access to a multitude of applications.

To cater to diverse preferences, certain LG MyView models are available in various colors, such as essence white, mild beige, cotton pink, and cotton green.

The new LG MyView displays (32SR85U, 32SR83U, and 32SR70U) adopt 31.5-inch, 4K IPS panels, setting a high standard for picture quality in the smart monitor category. The displays feature a slim form factor with a 3-side virtually borderless design, optimizing the viewing experience and saving space. The 32SR85U and 32SR83U come with an adjustable stand featuring a circular cutout, while the 32SR70U boasts a low-profile base for a compact and stylish appearance. The 32SR85U has received accolades such as the CES 2024 Innovation Award, the 2023 Red Dot Design Award, and the 2023 iF Design Award.

Equipped with webOS 23, LG MyView supports remote work and home entertainment, offering access to popular streaming services, productivity programs like Microsoft 365 and Google Calendar, and compatibility with AirPlay 2 and Miracast for wireless screen mirroring. Built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth ensure seamless connections to the internet and compatible peripherals. The 32SR85U can be paired with a detachable Full-HD webcam (1,920 x 1,080), ideal for video conferencing and interactive applications.
