Graymatics, a globally recognized multimedia cognitive processing firm, has introduced its latest partner program in Brazil, aiming to establish new distribution channels for its Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions. Reflecting the prevailing global trend where a majority of sales are facilitated through strategic partnerships, the company is actively seeking collaborations with entities in the country that specialize in systems and technology integration, along with providers of Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) infrastructure. Noteworthy is Graymatics’ status as a global partner with renowned companies such as NTT, Dell, Nvidia, Bosch, Hitachi, Honeywell, and Axys.

Eduardo Vargas, Business Development Manager at Graymatics in Brazil, reveals, “In Brazil, we are already engaged in advanced discussions with global partners possessing regional operations, and we aim to extend our distribution channels to companies operating throughout Latin America, leveraging our existing base in Chile.” Operating in 15 countries globally, Graymatics stands out for delivering cutting-edge applications of AI software in video analytics, machine learning, and big data analytics, thereby extracting valuable insights and offering impactful solutions for various societal needs.

Vargas adds, “The partnership program has proven highly robust outside Brazil, with major contracts typically secured through substantial partners, be they system integrators, consultancies, or equipment suppliers. We anticipate a similar trajectory in Brazil as observed in the rest of the world.”

Partners enrolling in the program take on the responsibility of selling, and Graymatics’ software is either installed on the partner’s server or directly on the end customer’s server. Vargas emphasizes, “Graymatics provides comprehensive training and support to ensure the smooth progression of each project. Partners gain the ability to market our full suite of AI-based solutions.”

Graymatics boasts over 100 AI-powered analytics parameters in video analytics, offering extensive learning and data collection capabilities. The company transforms traditional CCTV camera monitoring into a smart feature, enhancing security against theft, robberies, and break-ins, contributing to smart city initiatives, addressing traffic concerns, and actively participating in accident prevention.

Graymatics has introduced five solutions in Brazil:

  1. Urban Vision: A video analytics solution tailored for smart cities, covering smart infrastructure and utilities. It facilitates traffic monitoring, accident assistance, infraction checking, vehicle identification, and enhances security against violence, vandalism, robberies, and thefts. It also supports social distancing measures, alerts for suspicious activities, and provides data analysis tools for monitoring public spaces.
  2. Site Insight: Designed to empower smart building managers and security teams, this 24×7 solution enhances security compared to traditional surveillance. It includes access control, management of authorized personnel, monitoring parking lots, smoke and fire alerts, and security alerts against suspicious activities. In healthcare settings, it can send alerts about individuals in need of medical assistance or abandoned objects.
  3. Lab Vista: A streaming video analytics platform for manufacturing, labs, and smart factories. It aids in employee and visitor analysis, detection of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) use, process optimization, compliance, safety, and quality control. The system generates alerts for people in danger on the factory floor, detects human errors, controls access to restricted areas, and increases workplace safety.
  4. Vista Karma: Ideal for monitoring large construction sites, it ensures proper PPE use, helps prevent accidents, supervises machinery, and detects fire outbreaks. It assists in access control, employee management, and automates inspection processes for prefabricated parts or constructions by identifying problems, cracks, errors in pillar sizes, and sends defect alerts.
  5. Vistamart: Tailored to transform retail operations through smart technologies, Vistamart uses cognitive media analytics to monitor customer demographics, such as age, ethnicity, gender, and emotions. Suitable for supermarkets, shopping malls, and banks, it identifies issues like long queues, gauges customer behavior and satisfaction, and contributes to security monitoring against theft and robbery.
