“Iceman: The George Gervin Story” Hits the NBA App for Streaming

The eagerly anticipated documentary, “ICEMAN,” showcasing the remarkable career of one of the NBA’s all-time greatest scorers, George Gervin, is now officially accessible on the NBA App. Produced by GameAbove Entertainment, the film is also scheduled to debut on NBA TV on December 13.

“ICEMAN” delves into the extraordinary basketball journey of George “The Iceman” Gervin, a distinguished member of both the professional and college Basketball Hall of Fame. Once hailed as the most dominant scorer in the NBA, Gervin’s unique style, particularly his signature finger roll, left an indelible mark on the sport, influencing athletes both during and after his era. For over a decade, he astounded defenders and captivated audiences with his uncanny ability to score effortlessly, even against the most formidable opponents. Gervin’s illustrious career boasts four NBA scoring titles, nine All-Star appearances, and recognition as one of the top 50 NBA players of all time. To this day, he remains among the top 10 all-time leaders in points per game.

For devoted San Antonio Spurs fans, the documentary is a must-watch, offering a celebration of the team’s rich history, marked by generational players. Gervin, a distinguished member of this elite group, had his #44 jersey retired in 1987 and was subsequently inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1996.
