Kevin Hart Joins Forces with Director F. Gary Gray for Heist Film ‘Lift’ on Netflix

Kevin Hart and director F. Gary Gray are joining forces for the first time in the heist film “Lift,” which Netflix acquired as a spec script by Dan Kunka in March. The movie is produced by Simon Kinberg and Audrey Chon for Genre Pictures, Matt Reeves and Adam Kassan for 6th & Idaho, and Kevin Hart and Brian Smiley for HartBeat Productions.

In “Lift,” Hart takes on the role of a master thief who is enticed by his ex-girlfriend and the FBI to execute an extraordinary heist with his international crew on a 777 flying from London to Zurich.

This collaboration is part of Kevin Hart and HeartBeat Productions’ creative partnership with Netflix.
