Marvel Studios’ Ms. Marvel has achieved a significant accolade by clinching a Primetime Creative Arts Emmy®! The Disney+ series was recognized for Outstanding Motion Design, with the distinguished recipients including Ian Spendloff (Director), David Lochhead (Designer), Daniella Marsh (Designer), David Stumpf (Designer), Philip Robinson (3D Artist), and Matthew Thomas (3D Artist).

These juried awards were announced early and are set to be presented at the 75th Creative Arts Emmy Awards on January 6 and 7 in Los Angeles. A condensed telecast of the event will then be aired on January 13 on FXX.

Ms. Marvel, a fresh, original series, introduces Kamala Khan, a Muslim American teenager navigating life in Jersey City. As an enthusiastic gamer and avid fan-fiction writer, Kamala is a Super Hero mega-fan with a vivid imagination, especially when it comes to Captain Marvel. Despite feeling invisible at home and school, Kamala’s life takes a turn when she acquires superpowers, just like the heroes she has always admired.

Iman Vellani takes on the role of Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel, leading a cast that includes Aramis Knight, Saagar Shaikh, Rish Shah, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Matt Lintz, Yasmeen Fletcher, Laith Nakli, Azhar Usman, Travina Springer, and Nimra Bucha.

The episodes are skillfully directed by Adil El Arbi & Bilall Fallah, Meera Menon, and Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy. Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, and Bisha K. Ali serve as executive producers, with Sana Amanat and Trevor Waterson as co-executive producers. Bisha K. Ali is the head writer for the series.
