YouTube Music now empowers users to craft AI-generated artwork for their playlists

By River James
YouTube Music is introducing a range of new features tailored to enhance the user experience. These updates encompass a fresh radio experience, discovery tools, and various subtle enhancements within the app.
In addition to these improvements, an “experimental” AI-powered feature has been integrated, adding an element of enjoyment to playlist exploration. YouTube has developed what it terms a “guided experience” that leads users through the process of crafting original cover art.
Users will receive prompts to choose from a variety of visual themes, colors, and image subjects, such as their favorite animal, to construct their artwork. YouTube’s AI technology will then step in to amalgamate these selections and create a harmonious visual representation.
Currently, this feature is exclusively accessible to English-speaking YouTube Music users in the United States. However, the company has plans to extend this tool to other regions and languages globally in the near future.
